Terms of Service for Teachers' Assistant AI (hereafter abbreviated as TAAI)Last Updated: 9/3/2024Welcome to TAAI, an AI-powered platform designed to assist teachers in creating educational content such as lessons, games, and curricula using advanced technologies including ChatGPT and prompt engineering. By accessing or using TAAI, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the platform.1. Acceptance of TermsBy creating an account, accessing, or using TAAI, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with these Terms and our Privacy Policy. These Terms apply to all users of the platform, including but not limited to teachers, administrators, and other educational professionals.2. EligibilityYou must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement to use TAAI. By using the platform, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.3. Use of the PlatformTAAI allows users to create educational content using AI-powered tools. You agree to use the platform only for lawful educational purposes and in accordance with these Terms. Prohibited uses include, but are not limited to:Using the platform to generate harmful, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise inappropriate content.
Misusing the platform in a manner that violates any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
Attempting to interfere with or disrupt the platform’s functionality or security.4. User AccountsTo use TAAI, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.5. Intellectual PropertyAll content generated by TAAI, including AI-generated content, remains the intellectual property of Meon LLC, TAAI or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the content for educational purposes within your classroom or institution. You may not sell, distribute, or use the content for commercial purposes without prior written consent from Meon LLC.6. Content and ConductYou are responsible for the content you create using TAAI. You agree that the content will be appropriate for an educational setting and will not infringe upon the rights of any third party. Meon LLC reserves the right to review, remove, or modify content that violates these Terms or is deemed inappropriate.7. Overuse and Account SuspensionTAAI is designed to be used within reasonable limits to support educational activities. Excessive use or abuse of the platform, including but not limited to generating an unusually high volume of content that exceeds typical usage patterns, may result in account limitations or suspension. Meon LLC reserves the right to monitor usage and take action, including limiting access or suspending accounts, if it determines that a user’s activity disrupts the platform’s operations or exceeds the intended use.If your account is suspended due to overuse or abuse, you will be notified via the email address associated with your account. We encourage you to contact our support team if you believe your account has been suspended in error.8. Privacy and Data SecurityYour use of TAAI is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using the platform, you consent to the collection and use of information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.9. Disclaimer of WarrantiesTAAI is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. TAAI does not warrant that the platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or that any defects will be corrected.10. Limitation of LiabilityTo the fullest extent permitted by law, TAAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the platform;
Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein;
Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the platform.11. IndemnificationYou agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TAAI, Meon LLC, its affiliates, and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney’s fees) arising from your use of the platform or your violation of these Terms.12. Changes to the TermsTAAI reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of such changes by posting the updated Terms on our platform. Your continued use of the platform after any changes signifies your acceptance of the new Terms.13. TerminationWe may terminate or suspend your access to TAAI immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the platform will cease immediately.14. Subscription, Chargebacks, and RefundsTAAI offers both monthly and annual subscription plans. By subscribing, you authorize TAAI to charge the subscription fee to your chosen payment method at the frequency you select (monthly or annually).Initiating a chargeback through your bank or credit card provider for a payment made to TAAI without contacting us first is considered a violation of these Terms. If a chargeback is initiated, TAAI reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account and seek further action, including collections for unpaid fees.Refund Policy:Monthly Subscriptions: Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable. Once paid, the subscription fee for the month is final, and no partial or full refunds will be provided, except where required by law.
Annual Subscriptions: Refunds for Annual subscriptions may be issued on a pro-rata basis at TAAI’s discretion, taking into account the timing of the cancellation request and the usage of the service.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellations will take effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will retain access to TAAI until the end of that period.15. Governing LawThese Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms will be resolved in the courts of The United States of America.16.
